
Our
picturesque region is on the border of the Forest of
Chaource
and is close to the Vineyards of Champagne
( 12 km ) and the region of Burgundy ( 20 km
) which attract many tourists and visitors.

Our
local rural produce are Mushrooms, Escargots,
Andouillette (a speciality sausage)
Cider, Champagne and the renowned "Chaource
cheese" which delights many gourmets.

For nostalgia, visit the majestic
Church of Chaource. The crèche
was sculptured in wood during
the 15th century and
it has a tomb which dates back to the 12th century.
There is also a museum in Chaource tracing
back the history of the local Chaource cheese.
In the village of Maisons Les Chaource there is a museum
of dolls which is worth a visit.

For the sporting there is an
18 hole golf course close to Chaource at the
magnificent Cordelière de Chaource, there is also a covered
Riding School and for those who enjoy excitement
there is a 4x4 Quad driving course.
