Our picturesque region is on the border of the Forest of Chaource
and is close to the Vineyards of Champagne ( 12 km ) and the region of Burgundy ( 20 km ) which attract many tourists and visitors.

are Mushrooms, Escargots, Andouillette (a speciality sausage)
   Cider, Champagne and the renowned "Chaource cheese" which delights many gourmets.








For nostalgia
, visit the majestic Church of Chaource. The crèche was sculptured in wood during
the 15th century
and it has a tomb which dates back to the 12th century.
There is also a museum in Chaource tracing back the history of the local Chaource cheese.
In the village of Maisons Les Chaource there is a museum of dolls which is worth a visit.






   For the sporting
there is an 18 hole golf course close to Chaource at the magnificent Cordelière    de Chaource, there is also a covered Riding School and for those who enjoy excitement there is    a 4x4 Quad driving course.
